Refund Policy

1. Our Standard

We want every translation project to meet your expectations. Our refund policy is stage-based and explained clearly so you know what applies at each point in the engagement.

2. Full Refund

A full refund is available if you cancel within 24 hours of payment AND no work has been started. Email billing@ictranslating.com with subject "Cancellation Request" within that window.

3. Partial Refund Schedule

• Less than 25% of work complete: 60% refund
• 25% to 50% complete: 30% refund
• Over 50% complete: No refund; project delivered to agreed scope

Completion percentage is calculated based on word count translated and reviewed, documented in our project management system.

4. Quality-Related Requests

If a delivered translation contains errors that materially misrepresent the source content, we correct them at no charge. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with specific examples. We investigate and respond within 3 business days.

5. Non-Refundable

• Consultation hours where sessions have already been completed
• Add-on services already delivered (e.g. DTP formatting)
• Projects cancelled more than 14 days after full delivery
• Back-translation proofs already completed

6. How to Request a Refund

1. Email billing@ictranslating.com with subject "Refund Request"
2. Include your name, email, order date, project description, and reason for request
3. We acknowledge within 1 business day and decide within 3 business days
4. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe within 5 to 10 business days
